A dial-in conference room with its own extension, so recurring meetings always use the same number.

## The problem

Ad-hoc conference bridges mean a new dial-in every time, and somebody always has the old number.

## How Advanced Conference Extension works

A conference extension is a permanent room on your phone system. It has its own extension, so the dial-in never changes, and anyone with the number can join — internally by dialing the extension, externally through a direct number or an option on your IVR.

Because it is part of the phone system rather than a separate meeting product, people join from a desk phone or a mobile without an app, an account, or a link in a calendar invitation. That matters more than it sounds for client calls, contractors, and anyone driving.

Conference extensions are included on Business, and available as an add-on on Essentials.
