## The problem

## How Callback Extension works

A callback extension offers a waiting caller the option to hang up and be rung back when it is their turn, instead of holding. Their position in the queue is kept, and the system calls them when they reach the front.

It changes the economics of a busy period. Instead of an abandoned call you never hear about, you keep the inquiry — and the customer gets their time back rather than spending it on hold.

Callback extensions are included on Business, and available as an add-on on Essentials.
