# What PBXflex connects to

PBXflex keeps your contacts in step with Google and puts alerts in the chat tool your team already uses. Connections to CRMs, practice software, accounting and tax software, and ERPs are coming soon. This page lists both, and says plainly which is which.

## Connected today

You set each of these up in the PBXflex app.

### Two-way contact sync: Google Contacts

Connect your Google account and your contacts appear in PBXflex. Changes made on either side flow to the other.

- You see a preview of what will sync before anything changes.
- You choose which contacts the team shares and which stay private.
- Texts and faxes show the contact's name, not a bare number.

### Alerts in your team chat: Microsoft Teams, Slack, Google Chat, Discord

When a text waits too long for a reply, an alert lands in the chat tool your team already has open.

- You choose how long a message can wait before the alert fires.
- Alerts stop once someone reads or answers the message.
- The alert links straight to the conversation.
- An admin sets the defaults for the whole team.

These are the systems we plan to connect next. None of them connects to PBXflex today, and we have no dates to share yet. Until each one does, your team runs PBXflex next to it, and the notes below say how.
