PBXflex is a unified communications platform providing VoIP, SMS, fax, and contact management services. This Privacy Policy explains how PBXFLEX INC (“PBXflex,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the PBXflex App and Service.

In the event of any conflict between this Privacy Policy and the PBXflex Legal Terms, the Legal Terms shall control. By using the PBXflex App, you agree to this Privacy Policy and the PBXflex Legal Terms.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information necessary to operate and improve our services, which may include:

• Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and account credentials provided during registration.
• Communications Data: SMS messages, fax transmissions, call metadata, and related routing information processed to deliver services.
• Contacts Data: Contact information from your device if you choose to enable contact syncing.
• Usage and Technical Data: App usage activity, logs, diagnostics, and performance metrics.
• Website Analytics: When you visit our website, how you use it: pages viewed, how you arrived, device and browser type, approximate location, and where you click, scroll, and move your mouse on each page. This is collected through Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, described below.
• Partner Referral Data: If you reach our website through a link from a member of the PBXflex Partner Program, which partner referred you. This is collected through Partnero, described below.

Cookies and analytics on our website

Our website, www.pbxflex.com, uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier) to tell visits apart. Google processes this information as described in its privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

We do not use Google Analytics to identify you personally. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics on all websites with Google's browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Our website also uses Microsoft Clarity, a service provided by Microsoft Corporation, to see how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Clarity captures how you interact with each page: the pages you view, where you click, how far you scroll, and how you move your mouse. It turns this into heatmaps and session recordings, which are replays of a visit. Clarity does not capture what you type into forms. It sets cookies named _clck and _clsk to connect the pages you view into one visit. Microsoft also sets its own cookies, including one named MUID that identifies your browser across Microsoft sites and that Microsoft uses for advertising, site analytics, and other operational purposes. By using our website, you agree that we and Microsoft can collect and use this data. You can opt out of Clarity on all websites by choosing Microsoft at https://optout.aboutads.info.

Our website also uses Partnero, the service that runs the PBXflex Partner Program, so that a partner who refers you can be credited if you sign up. When you visit, Partnero receives the address of the page, the page that linked you to it, your screen size and your browser language, and sets a cookie named partnero_session_uuid to tell visits apart. If you arrived through a partner's referral link, it also sets a cookie named partnero_partner that holds that partner's identifier and one named referral_url that holds the address you arrived at, and our website adds the identifier to links to the PBXflex App so the referral carries over when you sign up. Partnero processes this information as described in its privacy policy at https://www.partnero.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Our website also offers a chat window, provided by LeadConnector. Nothing is loaded from LeadConnector until you click the chat button. When you do, your browser loads the chat window from LeadConnector, which receives the address of the page and information about your browser and may set cookies. If you start a chat, LeadConnector also receives what you type, including any name, email address, or phone number you give, so we can reply. LeadConnector processes this information as described in its privacy policy at https://www.leadconnectorhq.com/privacy-policy.

Our website honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: if your browser sends it, our website does not load Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Partnero, or the chat window at all. You can still reach us by phone or email.
