About PBXflex

PBXflex at a glance

PBXflex is a cloud PBX: a hosted business phone system with business texting and fax in one app, on desk phones, the web and mobile. It is run by PBXFLEX INC in Los Angeles and billed month to month.

It is built for offices that live on the phone: healthcare practices, accounting and tax firms, and other growing teams that need calls answered, texts in one shared inbox and a fax line that still works.

What PBXflex does

  • A phone system in the cloud

Every user gets an extension and a local number. Auto attendants (IVR), call queues with callback, ring groups, shared voicemail, conference rooms and intercom paging are set up in the app, not on a box in your office.

    All features
  • Business texting

Your team texts customers from the business number, in a shared inbox, with photos and documents in the thread. Texting campaigns are registered for 10DLC.

    How business texting works
  • Fax without a fax machine

Faxes are sent and received in the app on every plan. An existing fax machine can stay in use as a shared-device line, a monthly add-on for a device rather than a person.

    How fax works
  • Desk phone, web and mobile

Calls ring wherever your team works. Desk phones can be bought or rented, and number porting is free.

  • Business$40/user/mo

Every call-flow feature included, for teams that handle a lot of calls.

1,000 credits a user each month, shared by the team: about 1,000 minutes of US and Canada calls, or 500 text segments, for each user on the plan.

How billing works

  • Every plan is month to month. Cancel any time.
  • Usage is billed in telecom credits. One credit is one cent, and credits are pooled across the account.
  • Number porting is free on every plan.
  • Prices exclude taxes and government fees. PBXflex charges no administrative or regulatory recovery fee.
  • Purchased credits never expire. Included credits reset each month.
  • When your balance falls below 100 credits, a pack of 2,500 credits is added for $25. You can switch auto-reload off in the app.
