Text customers from your business number, not a personal mobile
Send and receive texts and pictures from your business number rather than a personal mobile. RCS is coming.
The problem
Staff end up texting customers from their own phones, so the business cannot see the conversation and loses it entirely when they leave.
How Business SMS/MMS/RCS works
Business messaging sends and receives texts and pictures from your business number. Conversations live in a shared channel your team works from, so anyone can pick up a thread and nothing is stranded on one person's mobile.
Texting is included on every plan, and messages draw on the same telecom credits as your calls. Campaigns require 10DLC registration, the carrier process that lets a business text from a standard number without being filtered as spam. Every plan includes a low-volume campaign, and a standard campaign for marketing and higher volumes can be added to any plan.
RCS is the next step beyond SMS and MMS: branded, verified, interactive messages. It is coming to PBXflex — see the RCS Business Messaging page for what it adds.
